Some i’m going to collage and gonna be renting an apartment… And I was wondering if I use Hi Fi speakers on a home theater amplifier (av receiver), will it sound good? So her comes the real question, should I just decide weather to just buy a home theater, or use my old Hi Fi
(still banging… \m/ ), or mix em up… (as said above)

I Don’t worry about the neighbors complaining, because we’ve sound tested our Hi Fi and went to the other side (neighbor’s place)… And didn’t here much sound going through at moderate to semi loud volumes (cus that’s just how loud we play our music/movies/games)…

Yes, a good av receiver will sound good with hi fi speakers used for music etc. Nothing wrong with combining music and home theater. You could also consider using a pre-amp and amp setup for your system if you want to have a separate amp for your speakers.
