I purchased the amp new back in 2000. It cost me a boat load of money. But that sweet McIntosh sound is worth every penny.

The room layout …
The room layout pretty much dictated where the TV is to be placed. Also the windows where the TV is to be mounted has a direct view to the kitchen window of my next door neighbor’s house less than 15 feet away. Not very private. So the window shades are never opened anyway.
