Not much to show here except the trigger input/output function on the back of receiver and amplifier which allows the amp to turn on automatically when the receiver is powered up.

Hey man, thanks for …
Hey man, thanks for the review. I am thinking about getting an xpa-3 myself. And don’t listen to these trolls ripping on your gear. It looks like you got a pretty nice setup. Its not like you bought a HTIB. Im running an Onkyo reciever right now, but had a Yammy in the past and really liked it.

don’t listen to the …
don’t listen to the so called audiophiles with their weak sounding speakers and amps I have attended countless trade shows and show rooms and yes the best speakers and amps are the usual but put those same speakers on a dedicated theater and the dynamic part is not there …. Klipsch makes some fine speakers ….emotiva has received many good reviews although i personally have not heard them… I run with JBL Synthesis and Horn speakers are the way to go when it comes to true home theater

what nothing wrong …
what nothing wrong with horn speakers for home theater use… I run with JBL Synthesis which are horn speakers and I assure you no such thing as dirty watts horns produce immense dynamic sound of which you wouldn’t get by a normal speaker…sure if you want to listen to so called audiophile music with very if any dynamic sound than yes go for the musical speakers

This is my first …
This is my first setup so I don’t have experience with other preamps, but I do know the Yahama sounded great until I got the Emotiva and realized it reaches its limit at high volumes very quickly in comparison. With the amp I no longer worry the about volume.
I honestly believe the speakers sound even better at high volumes, thanks to the amp.

Oh, and I just wondered why your stating the RX-V3800 is a “shit” receiver for my system? What do you have? And what do you recommend?

I will learn what? …
I will learn what? You might want to do a more research on current day technology.
I don’t manually turn on anything in my living room, do you?
Are you suggesting the engineers who decide to use trigger in/out on higher end equipment don’t know what they are doing? If so, maybe they should hire you?
