You ran a steady …
You ran a steady sine wave check on each frequency at different SPL db levels to make sure the door wont rattle. Its best to take the door off the hinges only that the sub is tucked out of the way.
Also maybe a door like frame that is covered with dark fabric so it seems like part of the wall or what ever. This way the sound can pass though uninterrupted by door being in the way.
