Save your money. You won't find anything that sounds better than your tvs speakers. $55 is about what I paid for 100' of speaker wire. For a low end system Philips makes a system for about $150 look at target, Mid range system about $500 Yamaha, onkyo, sony. If you are looking for a deal check ebay just be careful who you buy from. If you buy something that cheap, then you get what you pay for....garbage. Save your money and buy something better. That piece of crap in the first answer is NOT the answer.

My suggestion for finding a surround sound system for around $55 dollars would be to check at your local pawn shop. There might be some inexpensive systems there that they are willing to part with for cheap. Just remember they want your business so ask them to work with you on the price. Happy hunting!

Surround Sound?!?
Ive been looking for a good sounding surround sound system for my TV, ive only got 55 dollers, whats a good but cheap brand, and whats a good souning amount of watts??? and and what online store sells cheap surround sound systems used or unused i dont care
