Should I get Yamaha or Pioneer home theater Receiver?
Author: admin // Category: Yamaha Home Theater
I’m trying to decide weather to get a yamaha receiver or a Pioneer elite reciever. Specifically the pioneer elite sc-27, or Yamaha rx-v2065.
They’re both good receivers. Make a list of features you must have and features you’d like to have. Then compare the two. If they both have the same features then get the less expensive one or the one you like to look at more.
No offense to anyone, but some people seem to think the "Elite" badge makes a certain part of their anatomy increase in size.

Get a Pioneer Elite receiver. I have used Pioneer Elite receiver and other related equipment for over 30 years. The SC-27 is the newest model below the SC-09. Go online to Home Theater magazine and read the review on the receiver (SC-07 is the same as SC-27 which is the 2009 model with some upgrade). Hope this will help you out.

I would choose Pioneer’s new top of the line receivers SC-LX72 or SC-LX82. Both have a very sophisticated Ice-power amplification technology, state of the art digital signal processing, and almost infinite input and output options.
